HomeMusicReview: Voice of a Generation Voice of a Generation “Obligations to the Odd” (Burning Heart Records)Considering what else is being released from the cold Nordic lands of Svens and Ingas , for example the Hellacopters or Gluecifer, Voice of a Generation falls way short of recent releases of punk. Theyre slightly repetitive sound hails from a generation 23 years past. The 77 spirit is carried on by Charlie Voices vocals, are left a bit bland; but they’ve given it an honest try with a catchy guitar and bass. And although they have that spirit of 77 behind them, they are the voice of repetitiveness. But shit they have made it far enough for a mutt punk like me to criticize them so they cant be half bad, give them a shot.
